Letters ship during the first week of each month. Once your subscription is active, your child's first letter will go out with the next monthly batch. Most families receive their letter within 5–7 business days after shipping, depending on location.

Little Red Mailbox is designed primarily for children ages 7 to 10. The stories and missions are written to be engaging and accessible for that age range while encouraging curiosity, responsibility, and independent thinking.

For younger children, many families enjoy reading the stories aloud together. Some older children enjoy them as well, especially those who love stories, adventure, and hands on activities.

Rather than focusing on a specific age, we encourage parents to consider their child's interests and reading level. The recommended age range is a guide, not a strict rule.

Each envelope includes a short story, a simple hands on mission, and a small surprise tied to the experience. Simply choose either a monthly or yearly subscription and have it shipped directly to the child. Each month they will receive a new story, a hands on mission, and a small surprise in the mail.
